Mark Grid Antenna Struts & Windbraces
Mark antennas are provided with adjustable and fixed side struts noted in the Tables of Mechanical Specifications. Under normal circumstances, these provide sufficient stability for operational and survival conditions. In those instances where additional struts are requested to increase the rigidity or ice / snow load capability of the antenna, the following optional fixed struts are available.
Unless otherwise stated, these strut assemblies consist of a 10.5 foot length of standard 1.5 inch IPS steel tubing with attachment hardware to mount to a flat surface on the tower. No threading or drilling of the strut is required.
